The International Schools Partnership’s (“ISP”) vision is to be an international schools group of quality and scale, recognised across local communities and the education sector for amazing learning, ambition and growth.  We are a focused, growing and financially secure group with 28 schools located in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Spain, the United Kingdom, the United States, Costa Rica, Mexico and Malaysia.

ISP has a clear purpose:

All our schools:

  • Help children and students learn to levels that amaze them;

  • Inspire children and students to be successful now and equip them to be successful later;

  • Are truly international, working in partnerships within and across regions, cultures and languages;

  • Aim to be the first choice for children, students and their families, wherever we are.

Our principles emphasise and underpin how we do what we do.

We:

•  Begin with our children and students;
   Our children and students are at the heart of our business. Simply, their success is our success.

•  Treat everyone with care and respect;
   We look after one another, embrace similarities and differences and promote the well-being of each other.

•  Operate effectively;
   We focus relentlessly on the things that are most important and will make the most difference.

•  Are financially responsible;
   We make financial choices carefully based on the needs of the children, students and our schools.

•  Learn continuously
   Getting better is what drives us.

The International Schools Partnership is very keen to maintain the distinct ethos of the individual schools we own, and this is the cornerstone of our relationship with each school. Our team builds on existing best practice of the schools we acquire through investing in additional resources and deepening the range of experience and support available. We use our knowledge of running schools around the world to ensure that all our schools can benefit from inclusion in their existing and developing programmes.  ISP currently runs a number of different curricula across our schools including English, US, Spanish and IB but we tailor schooling to the local environment.

ISP is a truly international schools group working in different countries, different cultures and speaking different languages. We work across countries and cultures, too. Our schools work with each other and with other schools and communities. This includes our children and students. Some examples of our international experiences include:

  • A Model United Nations hosted in Mexico

  • Student Ambassadors’ trips to Mexico and Europe

  • Exchange programmes between schools in Spain and our school in the UK

  • Short term English language immersion courses in Cambridge

  • Trips to Iceland, the United States, Egypt, France and Germany to name a few

We currently have three schools in the United Arab Emirates with a fourth opening in September 2018. Nibras International School is located in Dubai. Reach British School and Aspen Heights British School are both located in Abu Dhabi. Our newest school in the region, The Aquila School opens in Dubai in September 2018. The decision was taken to expand our presence in the UAE after the success of Reach British School, our first school in the region.

Nibras International School joined ISP in March 2017.  The school opened in 2005 and has over 780 students from almost 80 nationalities made up of Emiratis and Expats living in Dubai. The school runs an American curriculum from Kindergarten to Grade 12 aligned with the Colorado State Academic Standards.

Reach British School joined ISP in January 2016.  The school opened in 2014 and has doubled in student and teacher population with over 1350 students from 3 – 15 years of age, following the National Curriculum of England. Reach British School currently educates children up to Year 11, with Year 11 opening in September 2018 to offer children the iGCSE exams.   The school currently has over 40 nationalities made up of Emirati and expat families living in Abu Dhabi.  The school firmly believes that the international mix of students prepares them for their future in a diverse world.

Aspen Heights British School located in the Al Bahya area on the outskirts of Abu Dhabi, close to Yas Island, opened its doors for the first time on 10th September 2017. The School currently provides an education from Foundation Stage 1 to Year 6 and combines the best practice of the British National Curriculum with the requirements of the Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK).

Aspen Heights aims to develop awareness of environmental sustainability and global responsibility in all aspects of learning, and to nurture eco-minded citizens who become productive and responsible stewards of our world recognising the finite nature of the earth's natural resources. The school's learning environment will focus on enquiry based and collaborative learning, developing children's independence and problem-solving skills. Students will study Maths, Science and English as core subjects and 8 foundation subjects.

Aspen Heights British School has a capacity of 1,000 students with 50 classrooms and 60 teachers. The school offers contemporary and market leading facilities including:

The Aquila School is the latest school in the group to be built, and will open in Dubai Land, Dubai in September 2018. It will cater initially for FS1 to Year 4, with new year groups to be added each new academic year. The school will offer the National English Curriculum, and at the end of secondary will offer the vocational BTEC as well as IB courses for Year 13 students.

This new school will offer ‘Real Learning for a Real Future’, focusing on practical learning and independence of thought. The school will be led by a founding Principal and Head of Primary who join from a top UAE school. The Aquila School shows the promise to be a market leader with an experienced Senior Leadership Team at the helm fostering amazing learning opportunities within new state of the art facilities.

Steve Brown, Group Managing Director of the International Schools Partnership, comments:

“We are very pleased to have opened our second school, Aspen Heights British School, in Abu Dhabi and look forward to the opening of The Aquila School, Dubai, in September 2018. The UAE is a solid and growing market for education and presents good opportunities for operators with well-run schools.  We believe our strong focus on individualised learning combined with a clearly defined science and environmental theme at Aspen Heights will present a compelling offering for parents and help the school to successfully differentiate itself from the competition.”
